Airfare Travel Dachshund Checklist

Flying with your dachshund requires a little more planning than traveling solo or with a human travel partner. To simplify what you need to do, use the following helpful dachshund travel check list.

Bloodhounds have dewlaps. What are dewlaps? They are strange looking, pendulous folds of skin on the back of the neck. They don't seem to serve any useful purpose to the bloodhound, but are rather interesting to look at.

1. If you plan to travel with your dachshund, book a direct flight. Not to mention, it will reduce the possibility of your dachshund being mishandled by baggage staff or being left behind. During your booking reservation inquire about the airline's restrictions on transporting animals.
