Can I Get Sick Picking Up DOG Poop?

It is entirely possible to get sick because of DOG poop. A gram of DOG poop can contain over 20 million bacteria. DOG poop can also contain things like ring worms and tape worms. If you pick up DOG poop without using the proper equipment you could get sick. However, that does not mean that you shouldn't clean up after your dachshund. People stand a much higher chance of getting sick if you don't pick up your dachshund's poop immediately.

About eight thousand years ago, ancient Egyptians began to raise a breed called Saluki, as hunting dogs. Saluki is an arabic word. In english it translates as "noble one". These dogs are probably the oldest known breed.

Dogs often poop in public parks or playgrounds where there are lots of children and other DOGS. If the DOGS eat each other's poop or if the children touch or eat the DOG poop it can be a very unsanitary situation. If they then touch other objects or other children and DOGS they can spread bacteria everywhere.

In the latter part of the 18th century, Holland was split between the partisans of the Prince of Orange and the patriots, and the patriots were led by Kees de Gyselaer, who owned a dog named Kees. Kees gave the Keeshond breed its name and became the symbol of the Patriots.

Another problem is that both children and adults can easily step in the DOG poop without realizing it and then spread it around parks, sidewalks, in cars or even inside their houses. Aside from being unsanitary, DOG poop is also just plain annoying and difficult to clean off of shoes.

Paul McCartney, of Beatles fame, was very fond of his shetland sheepdog. In fact, at the end of the song "A Day in the Life" Mr. McCartney inserted an ultrasonic whistle, audible only to dogs, for his shetland sheepdog.

Another huge problem with DOG poop is that, after it sits a little while, it attracts flies. Flies feed off of trash, rotten food and waste materials. Therefore, they carry many bacteria all on their own. The flies then spread their own existing bacteria and the bacteria from the DOG poop everywhere.

The springer spaniel breed is well-known for having very high energy levels. In fact, the "spring" in "springer spaniel" referred to this dog's ability to spring out at, or startle game. They are excellent hunting dogs.

The good news is that there are many good tools available for picking up DOG poop. In fact, many public parks in bigger cities now have DOG waste stations for disposing of the DOG poop.

The Broholmer is a breed that is recognized only in Denmark. It was thought extinct in the 1960's but, in December of 1974, a purebred Broholmer popped up in Finland. This dog was a male, and the owners hoped to find a female for him to mate with, but it never happened. While still recognized as a breed, an example has yet to appear again.

By disposing of DOG poop properly and quickly, you can avoid spreading disease and bacteria and keep many people and animals from getting sick.

Chow chows were originally bred as food, just like cows. However, in some cases, they were also used as hunters and helpers. They were also used to keep people warm under cold conditions by cuddling up to people with their soft, warm fur.
