Housing a Dachshund Inside or Outdoors

Determining when to keep a dachshund indoors is a hard decision for most canine owners to make. The disruption of a clean home is sometimes enough motivation to keep the family dachshund outside. But not everyone in the family will perceive the family dachshunds cohabiting indoors the same way. Not to mention, on the dachshund owner's behalf it may induce a feeling of rejection.

The doberman pinscher breed was created in the 1860's by a man named Louis Doberman. Mr. Doberman was a German tax-collector. He needed a dog to protect him from angry people while he worked. To this day, dobermans are excellent guard dogs.
